Wiley Post was the first man to fly solo around the world and died when he crashed his plane in Alaska with Will Rogers.
Post, wearing eye patch, poses with his plane "Winnie Mae". Full name is "The Winnie Mae of Oklahoma", where Post was from. On the plane are some of his flight records: "Los Angeles to Chicago-9 Hrs 9 Min 4 Sec-Aug 27, 1930--Around the World 7 days 18 Hrs 49 Min-July 15 to July 22-1933
