Text from newspaper caption: Jeanette Warren of Paramount Studios modeled many of Travis Banton’s creations for the Marlene Dietrich picture, “Desire.” One of the most spectacular, however, was this blue lace minaret silhouette over a draped satin slip, designed especially for Carole Lombard to wear at the gala lace ball in New York City. The smartest in spring and summer fashions were reviewed by more than 5000 spectators.
