The articla states: "Mutinous murder and a piratical five-day reign of terror on the high seas aboard the blood-soaked pleasure schooner Aafje were disclosed by harrowed survivors … stories of the death of Dwight L. Faulding, Santa Barbara hotel man and owner of the craft, shot by Jack Morgan, crazed houseboy and seaman. Morgan was later clubbed to death by two deckhands and his body thrown to the sharks … formal murder charges were filed against Robert Horne and George Spernak, young deckhands … These charges, authories unofficially admitted, are intended as a legal formality..."
