This granite statue was dedicated at Camp Kearney, San Diego, California, recently to the famous Lost Battalion and the 40th ("Sunshine") Division which trained at Camp Kearney. Photo [s]hows Anita Baldwin (right) who gave several hundred thousand dollars during the war to the 40th Division and Brig.-Gen. F.S.
