This photograph appears with the article “Reports Vary on Reputed Romance, Baldwin’s Love Hints Belittled, Wife of Man Reported to Be Courting Mlle. Lenglen Says: ‘What of It?’.” Los Angeles Times, 27 Jan. 1927. The article states: “Well, what of it?” and with a smart toss of her head Mrs. Nell Maxine Wilson-Baldwin dismissed interest, at least as far as outward appearances went, in the report from Cuba that her husband, Baldwin M. Baldwin, heir to the “Lucky” Baldwin millions, is engaged to Suzanne Lenglen, tempestuous French tennis star. …
Baldwin McClaughry Baldwin was the son of Anita Baldwin and Harry H. McClaughry, and grandson of E.J. "Lucky" Baldwin
