Kountz: representative for laboratory technicians and film editors; Harold Smith: sound technicians; E. W. Apperson: studio projectionists. Related to several stories in the Los Angeles Times about a film strike, from July 27-August 11, 1933. 665 sound men went on strike first, followed by 6000 allied craftsmen the next day in sympathy.
