Larsen enters frame from the left and extends across the image. It is moored at the dock with its starboard side facing camera. Flags on the ship and flags over the wharf wave in the breeze. At right, a portion of dock extends towards the right. More people gather along this portion of the wharf. In the distance at right, a tugboat pulls the C. A. Larsen from its berth.
