This photograph appears with the articles: "Actress Drops Marital Suit," Los Angeles Times, July 15, 1934; and "Betty Boyd Obtains Final Divorce From Rich Broker," Los Angeles Times, December 12, 1934.
Actress Betty Boyd at the time she dropped her suit to have a Mexican decree of divorce from Charles Henry Over, Jr. invalidated. The suit was dropped because Superior Judge Bogue indicated that the divorce was not recognized in California.
