Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Edna puts her feet up on an ottoman and holds a single white rose in her lap. She is surrounded by pillows and vases of more flowers. A sign behind her gives her name, saying that she "Appears Exclusively in Fox Film Productions Her Latest is 'Cradle Snatchers'," and underneath that is a banner that says "What California Makes Makes California Great". Other people can be seen milling around in the background. In an incentive to get Californians to shop locally rather than getting goods from the East coast the Manufacturers' Exhibit held two floors of objects for consumers to peruse with hostesses Sally Phipps, Nancy Nash, and Edna Conway. The location was 130 S. Broadway. Photograph appears with the article, "Crowds View Display Array," Los Angeles Times, 01 May 1927: B2. Text from newspaper caption: "Enthroned as Hostess Edna Conway, attractive feature of Manufacturers' Exhibit of Southern California." Text from negative sleeve: CONWAY, EDNA ACTRESS
