On the property of the original Mexican land grant of Rancho Santa Paula y Saticoy. The ranch was purchaseed by Edmund C. Converse, Jr. in 1908.
Large two-story house surrounded by a lawn covered in brown patches and a scarce amount of grass. There is little foliage that surrounds it. The picture is taken from the front of the house and shows mountains in the distance behind it. The house is on the property of the Santa Paula y Saticoy Ranch.
Edward C. Converse (aka Edmund C. Convrese, Jr.) is one of three heirs to a fortune of more than $100,000,000 from his father's death.
