Judge Leon Yankwich (left) and assistant registrar M. J. Donoghue (right) hold an envelope of voted ballots, many of which fill the room, following the Republican party primary election on August 30, 1932. A recount of votes was initiated before Judge Yankwich's court after State Senator Rochester requested an election contest trial, having lost the election to William D. Campbell.
