Photograph of sculptor Ernest Yerbysmith in his studio with a chisel placed on a marble bust sculpture placed on a sculpture trestle. Another bust sculpture of an African American man appears to the left of Yerbysmith, behind him, and other art works are somewhat visible on the wall and floor. Yerbysmith's studio was located at 1115 Hacienda Place in [now] West Hollywood.
