This photograph was probably taken while Richardson was campaigning for California state governor.
Friend Richardson, California State Treasurer at the time of this photo (later governor of California), shaking hands with two unidentified men. Richardson wears a hat and suit, the two other men both wear vests and one has a hat. An automobile is parked behind Richardson.
