Crowd watches a Lyon Van Storage truck pass on Spring St. The truck is carrying a stage coach with a sign reading "California [...] coach 1867, Lyon Pony Express Museum, Oak Knoll - Pasadena, open to public." The crown is probably there to attend the dedication ceremony for the new State Building, moderated by Vice President Charles Curtis.
