Monee, a 3-year-old German shepherd, demonstrates her tricks atop the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, here sitting on a fountain with right paw raised. The famous Chinese Theatre is visible in the background. The dog, knowing 300 commands and signals, came to Hollywood to make her debut in the talkies.
