Opening day of the 3rd street & Fairfax avenue Farmers' Market. Three carts full of fresh produce draw the attention of men, women, and children. Advertisements on the carts read, "Free Parking... at the Farmers Pu[blic Market]3rd & Fairfax [Opens Saturday July 14th. 10am]," "I'll Pick Your Fruits & Vegetables when Nature has ripened them and bring them to you at the Farmers Public Market 3rd & Fairfax Opens Saturday July 14th. 10am," and "Will be at Farmers Market 3rd & Fairfax Opens Saturday July 14th 10am. My Vegetables are always fresh." A man holds up a box of Dixie Fry to keep the sun out of his face.
