Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. View of the First Baptist Church of Hollywood on Selma and Las Palmas avenues, following a fire May 3, 1935. A fireman and a policeman look up towards the ruins; a couple men are also visible in the remaining doorway. Undaunted by the fire that happened on a Friday, members of the church raised a large tent beside the ruins to conduct regular service the following Sunday.
