Hill, probably in a courthouse during Moltke's trail for five counts of check forgery. Carl von Moltke was covered in the Los Angeles Times for his criminal activities, including burglary and check forgery between 1931-1940. In newspaper accounts, he also appears as: Carl von Morrison, Carl von Stoheim, Eugene Joseph Carl von Moltke Huitfelt, and Jean Carl von Moltke.
