Text from newspaper caption: Some of the characters who took part in the Mormon play "The Call of the Battalion," presented in the bowl of Centinela Park, Inglewood, last night. From left to right, Emma McNaughton, as Clara Decker helping Marlyn [sic] Baird, the blacksmith's daughter from the covered wagon. Dennis Killan, as the blacksmith and Alfred B. Hughes as Col. Thomas L. Kane. The pageant was the climax of the Mormon Day which attracted large crowds.
