Photograph of Mrs. Clarence E. Noerenberg (Mary Brodbeck Noerenberg), Miss Grace S. Stoermer and Mrs. B. F. Ferris (Eleanor L. Ferris), seated around a table with an open binder. An unfolded brochure is placed on top.
Grace Stoermer served in the California legislature, appointed Assistant Secretary of the California State Senate. She became the first woman to serve as Secretary of the Senate in 1921. Stoermer left after one term to become Vice President of Women's Banking for the Bank of Italy (later Bank of America).
