In July 1935, Robert E. Thomas, an actor, claimed that he was the cast-off son of May Yohe and Putnam Bradley Strong, who was wealthy and socially prominent. Thomas had been adopted by E. R. Thomas, an apartment manager in Hollywood. In this letter, the writer, L. L.
