Related to "Cliff Traps Three Boys," Los Angeles Times, 03 Aug 1935: A1. 8-year-old Robert Ellis, 11-year-old Robert Jeanette, and 12-year-old Clarence Ward found themselves stuck on an edge in Arroyo Seco above a 130 foot drop above the valley floor. They shouted for help until citizens heard them and contacted the fire department. Firemen and policemen in the process of rescuing three boys, Clarence Ward, Bobby Jeanette and Bobby Ellis, who had gotten trapped in Arroyo Seco. One fireman carries a boy while scaling down the brush-filled canyon. A second boy has already been rescued and waits at the base of the canyon with a fireman and a policeman. Another person is still up on the canyon wall at the top of the rope. Negative 7774 misfiled in envelope for 7775. Handwritten on [correct] negative sleeve: 1312.
