Photograph appears with the article, "Gale Sisters Grace Court," Los Angeles Times, 2 Aug 1935.
Accompanied by her sisters to court, Jean Gale testified that her husband theatrical agent Matty Rosen was seeing other women behind her back and failed to provide for her despite making $1000 a week.
Joan and June flank either side of Jean, placing their hands on her shoulders as she sits between them.

Text from newspaper caption: When Jean Gale, motion-picture actress, appeared in Superior Court yesterday and obtained a divorce from Matty Rosen, she was accompanied by her two sisters, also actresses, June, left, and Joan. The court was told that the husband failed to provide for his wife and went out with other women.
