The sisters reside at 325 North Orange Drive, the children of Michael Joseph Cunningham of Bisbee, Arizona. Their sister Mrs. Leopoldo Rosales is visiting from Mexico to attend their tea.
Ellen stands beside her seated sister Florence. Their newspaper photographs were cropped as two separate images from this one as close-ups of their faces.

Text from newspaper caption: Miss Ellen Cunningham Miss Florence Cunningham Those Cunningham sisters, Ellen and Florence, will surprise many of their friends at tea time today when they announce their engagements. Ellen will marry McBurney Howard late in the fall and Florence will become the bride of Thomas Gartland Moffat as soon as she arrives in New York City.
