View of Madam Nan Kee in hat, lace blouse, jacket, gloves, and cigarette in left hand. Madam Nan Kee, writer, filed a complaint against Earl W. Taylor, writers' agent, for inducing her to pay him $90 under promises of selling her manuscript. Madam Nan Kee also claimed that attempts had been made to kidnap her and that a mysterious assailant had fired a shot at her through her home during the Earl W. Taylor trial.
