Mr. Taylor, writer's agent and operator of the Hollywood Writer's Bureau, was charged with petty theft for illegally taking money from Miss Hilda Parvey and Madam Nan Kee, writers who claimed Taylor promised their stories would be turned into movies. Mr. Taylor was acquitted by the jury on October 14, 1935.
