Reynolds, and Alfred Cohn were meeting to discuss the building of a new post office. Name is incorrect on negative sleeve and negative. "Albert Cohn" should be "Alfred Cohn." William Arthur Newman was an architect and district engineer for Federal construction in the West. W. E. Reynolds was and architect and assistant director of procurement in charge of public works. Alfred Cohn was the Collector of Customs. William Arthur Newman (left), W. E. Reynolds (center), and Alfred Cohn sit in chairs side by side. They hold a street map spread out across all three of them. Newman holds a pen in his right hand. Reynolds has his hands crossed in front of him, elbows resting on his chair arms. Cohn holds the map in his left hand. Framed portraits hang on the wall behind them. Several books and a vase with flowers are behind Newman.
