Two unidentified firemen extinguish a fire in the Bockmon Tile and Pottery Company through one of the upstairs windows. This photograph is related to the article, “Tile Plant Fire Leads to Inquiry,” Los Angeles Times, 27 Sept 1935: A1 A fire broke out at the W. E. Bockmon Pottery and Tile Company at 415 West Avenue 33, completely destroying the structure. The cause of the blaze was unknown.
