Text from newspaper caption: John Ford, Fox director, returned on the Matson liner Malolo with his family yesterday after six weeks’ absence to Hawaii, and ready to start work on “The Message to Garcia.” With him were Mrs. Ford, their daughter, Barbara, and their son, Pat, the latter having sailed with his father to Hawaii from here in their ketch Aranar. Ford is with his daughter.
