Distant view of derailed locomotive and bystanders--men, women, and children-- looking on wreck. Several train cars as well as the engine are present. Engine is partially buried in ground as result of impact. Engine has numbers "2451" and "76." Power lines are in the background. The Southern Pacific Railroad locomotive had collided with a seven-ton sand truck on the train tracks in Glendale. A dozen people were injured, with no fatalities.
