Related to article, "Four-Year-Old Girl to Become Leading Lady" [Los Angeles Times, October 23, 1935] A young girl, 4-year-old Darla Hood, stands on top of a wooden table, wearing matching outfit of a light-colored coat, hat, and shoes. Her scarf is polka-dotted. On one arm she carries what appears to be her contract, and on the other an ink pen. A door is seen in the background. Hood had just signed a contract to be the lead in a series of movies produced by Hal Roach Studios, Inc.
