A woman waves from a palanquin carried by several men. She wears a bikini outfit made of gleaming material. Her palanquin bearers are in what appears to be African-dress. A shriner in a fez and jacket walks beside the procession. The Al Malaikah Shrine Temple of Los Angeles hosted a pageant, of which the theme was One Thousand and One Nights, or Arabian Nights. The event was hosted at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
