A group of six men in front of a desk covered with documents. Seated from left to right are Eugene M. Berger, Murray W. Garsson, and Peter C. Borre. Standing behind them are John A. Holland, Joseph F. Freeman, and George H. Francis. These men served on a local Los Angeles committee to help the United States Congress investigate real estate bondholders' reorganization. They held hearings during November 1935. Garsson was director of the investigations. Freeman was chief investigator. Holland, Francis, and Borre served as counsel.
