This is a photograph of John R. Hitchcock, newly appointed General Manager of the Santa Fe Coast Lines (left) shaking hands with Henry P. Anewalt, General Freight agent of Santa Fe railroad (right). The photograph was probably taken in Hitchcock's new office in the Kerckhoff Building on the northeast corner of Sixth and Main Streets.
