This is a photograph of Durward Howes (left), ex-president of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce being presented with the first annual distinguished service medal of the national organization by Harvey Humphrey (right), vice-president of the national junior chamber. The award was presented at a special meeting held at the Southern California Edison Building located at 601 W. 5th Street, Los Angeles.
