One hundred thousand Iowans attended the rally and picnic at Lincoln Park, where food was served and Governor Merriam addressed the crowd.

A sign that reads "Jasper" stands out above the crowd. Multiple signs are scattered throughout the park, marking the different counties in Iowa.
