Photograph taken on Wedding Day of Irving Thalberg and Norma Shearer at Irving's home in Beverly Hills (503 Sunset Blvd.). Thalberg was an associate producer at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio at the time and Ms. Shearer was an established actress. She dressed in a simple ivory velvet gown and the ceremony was performed in the Thalberg home.
