Raymond Griffith was one of the great silent movie comedians; Darryl Zanuck was an American film studio executive and producer; and Lucien Hubbard was a film producer and screenwriter. The Los Indios polo team was organized by Juan Reynal, from Argentina, in the winter of 1930-1931. Davy Whyte is recorded as the captain of the team in Los Angeles Times articles published from July through October 1931.
