Dorothy leans on top of a piano reading sheet music. Part of a man's face who is sitting at the piano can be seen to her right. There is the caption from the newspaper attached upside-down at the bottom of the photograph.
Photograph appears at the bottom left under the issue 12 Jan 1936: C8.
Text from newspaper caption: DOROTHY SHAW Rising above the handicap of infantile paralysis, Dorothy Shaw, young Pasadena singer, has now after fifteen years reached a state of proficiency where she participates in productions at the Junior Community Playhouse and in general concert work. A graduate of Occidental College, she is now studying at the Mebane Beasley Studios.
