Kimiko Tamura dressed a kimono and crouching on a low stone-lined bridge in the Japanese garden created by florist Toyo Y. Maeda at his shop in downtown Los Angeles. The shop was located at 113 N. San Pedro St. on the block north of 1st St. (later the block was re-named Judge John Aiso St.).
