At center, C. J. Young sits on a stool and faces camera. He looks down at a piece of paper he holds in his hand while thumbing his other hand towards the left. He sports a button on his lapel which reads, "L. A. COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR INFORMATION CLERK." A sign post stands to the left of him. It reads, "INFORMATION." From left to right, Dee Vaughn and Lucille Guelker stand to the right of C. J. Young. They both carry paperwork and as they appear to await direction from Mr. Young. People are visible sitting at desks in the background.
