Possibly related to the article, "Santas Wired For Sound," Los Angeles Times, 24 Dec. 1938: A16 From left to right, a Santa Claus sits in his display and a boy stands in front of him. The boy holds onto a small gift as he stands facing Santa Claus. Santa Claus looks towards the boy while holding a crumpled, brown bag in front of him. He sits in a small Christmas display. The back of Santa Claus' chair is shaped like a Christmas tree. It is recessed in a little alcove. A candy-cane striped column rises behind Santa Claus and a deer figure stands to the right of it.
