This photograph appears with the article, "Santas Wired For Sound," Los Angeles Times, 24 Dec. 1938: A16
From left to right, a Santa Claus sits in his display and a girl stands beside him. She stands facing towards the camera and looks down and away from Santa. The girl has a thoughtful look as she rests her index finger to her chin. Beside her, Santa Claus looks towards her as he holds one of her hands. He sits in a small Christmas display. The back of Santa Claus' chair is shaped like a Christmas tree. It is recessed in a little alcove that is flanked by candy-cane striped columns.
