At a special luncheon Florence Chess, the California Department president of the American Legion Auxiliary, entertained six district chairmen of Los Angeles County. Mrs.Chess will be spending time visiting veterans' hospitals during her stay in Southern California. The total membership of California auxiliaries is at 18, 286.
