This photograph is similar to another one of Dr. and Mrs. Andrews captioned "Socially Elect Enjoy the Desert Warmth Under a Winter Sun at Palm Springs: Dr. and Mrs. Roy Chapman Andrews continue their honeymoon at El Mirador after having sailed from New York to the Southland through the Panama Canal. The scientist and his bride left the Ambassador here for the desert spa and proceeded to Spokane Friday to return East via Canada," Los Angeles Times, 31 Mar. 1935: B1.
