Photograph of Farid Simaika, 1928 Olympic diver, in a pike position during the flight of a dive. A grand stand with spectators in visible beyond.
Farid Simaika was an Olympic diver who was born in Alexandria, Egypt. He won a silver medal for platform diving at the 1928 Olympics. Later he performed in the Billy Rose Aquacades and was a stunt double in the 1931 film Seas Beneath.
