Arnold John "Jigger" Statz was an American professional baseball player, manager and scout. An outfielder, Statz appeared in 683 games played in Major League Baseball, but had a lengthy and notable minor league. Statz played 18 minor league seasons, all of them for the Los Angeles Angels of the top-level Pacific Coast League. career, playing in almost 2,800 games.
