Photograph of Elizabeth Stine, track athlete, engaged in high jump, possibly at the Women's National track and Field Championship in Pasadena (July 1925), where she won the high jump. Elizabeth Stine was on the first American women's track and field team to participate in an international meet in Paris on August 20, 1922. The event was organized after the International Olympic committee refused to include women's track and field events in the 1920 Olympic Games. She also represented the Savage School (NYC) at the Women's National track and Field Championship in Pasadena (July 1925), winning the high jump with a height of 4'10"; participated in the Women's National AAU Track and Field Championships in Philadelphia, PA (July 1926); and was among the invited dignitaries at the Bergen County Record's Women's Outdoor State Track Championship at Hackensack, N.J.
