Bill Lane (H. W. Lane, Harry William Lane), was a part owner of the Mission Wolves when the team moved to Salt Lake City in 1915. After the 1925 season, he moved the team to Los Angeles to become the Hollywood Stars. After the 1935 season, he moved the team to San Diego as the San Diego Padres.
