View of two motorized mobile guns of the Fortieth Division of the United States Army on display at the Los Angeles Automobile Show in front of the Pan-Pacific Auditorium (7600 West Beverly Boulevard, destroyed by fire in 1983). Army officers are positioned around each of the 2 guns. The auditorium was an example of streamline modern style architecture.

Text from newspaper caption: Army Displays Motorized Warfare Equipment. This photo shows motorized warfare equipment of the Unites States Army on display at the Auto Show which will close tonight. The Army thus presents its method of quickly reaching a vulnerable point in the nation's defense, which officers say, is necessary in the event of an invasion. This exhibition has proved popular with show visitors.
